VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION AWARD:
This year the VRA was presented to Shelley Sanders of Highland Pacific Golf Club. Shelley started from scratch to organize the ladies division at Highland Pacific into a successful and fun group that it is today. This is Shelley’s last year as Captain, but we look forward to seeing her expertise displayed in other areas of the Zone.
Two ladies we will miss from the Zone Meetings and activities are Jan Pelton and Shirley Sarens. Jan and Shirley step down from their duties as Junior Chair and Publicity Chair, respectively. Jan has been on the Zone Committee since 2016, first as Publicity Chair and then in 2019 moving to guide the junior girls. Shirley replaced Jan as Publicity Chair and brought new an innovative ideas to the position with spirited Newsletters and TV exposure for the junior girls. Our grateful thanks to you both!
