Our congratulations to Berne Neufeld of Victoria Golf Club for being a recent recipient of the Distinguished Service Awarded presented by British Columbia Golf. In addition to all the Committees and Volunteer events she has been involved with over the years, and with donations and support from her membership, Berne has worked tirelessly to recruit, interview and mentor young boys and girls who were financially strapped for cash to seek a higher education. The Evans Caddie Scholarship has long been a fixture in the US, but Berne was the first to establish a program in Canada at the Victoria Golf Club.
