HEALTH INSTRUCTIONS FOLLOWED TO THE TEE!

Posted on October 31, 2020

As all British Columbians should be doing, the Ladies at Cedar Hill Golf Club have taken the instructions issued by Dr. Bonnie Henry to the course, and are practicing SAFE SIX. As seen at a recent outing, the ladies are not only practicing physical distancing but also the ‘putter pat’ after completing their round.

Wendy Swonnell is missing from the photos to take the pictures.

While the banquet and general food and beverage revenues are taking a hit, the National Golf Foundation announced that the US numbers for September ‘reported almost a 26% jump in rounds played versus a year ago’.  Canada would be enjoying similar increases.

Hopefully it won’t be too far down the road until we are able to return to normal socializing in the club house, but in the meantime, it behooves all of us to look out for one another; wear those masks, and in the words of our PHO, Be Kind, Be Calm, Be Safe.

Congratulation to Dr. Henry on receipt of an honorary degree of Doctor of Laws, from Royal Roads University.
