A strong field of 57 pairs teed off Friday morning, September 20th, at Cedar Hill Golf Course for the Qualifying Round of the 2019 Foursomes (its 71st Year). The course was in beautiful shape, the weather gods looked kindly upon the players and the results were impressive. Three pairs tied for the Medalist honours resulting in a countback to determine the winners. MARGARET PRICE and ANNE WILSON of Royal Colwood were the winners with a net score of 68. 
The ladies now move on to Match Play beginning Monday at Duncan Meadows, Tuesday, Gorge Vale, Semi Finals on Thursday at Cowichan and the finals at Uplands on Friday, September 27th. Good luck to all!!
Shirley Sarens (ARD) and Chris LaForge (OV) are feeling very lucky to start their day at Cedar Hill having won the Early Bird Draw. Those two ladies just just won 1/2 of their entry fee returned for entering before the EB deadline. Winner was determined by a blind draw. Congratulations!!
