A courageous group of ladies battled the elements at Bear Mountain on Monday, May 26th to kick off the first day of the Zone 5 Amateur/Senior/Handicap Championships. A cold, windy and long afternoon prevailed, however, all survived to golf another day at Cowichan Golf Club to finish up the tournament on Tuesday under sunny skies. Our thanks to the Staff at both clubs and in particular to Marilyn Ray and Carrie Dallaway, Captains at Bear Mountain and Cowichan respectively.
