Amateur/Senior/Handicap Tournament

Eligibility: Open to all Zone 5 female golfers 
with a verifiable handicap. 

Amateur and Senior must have index of 18.0 or lower. Seniors 
must have reached their 50th birthday by the 
first day of the National Championship, August 26th

Handicap division is open to all handicaps

Format: The Championships consists of two 18- 
hole stroke play rounds. The Champion and the Runner-Up in Amateur and Senior divisions will form the team 
representing Zone 5 at the BC Amateur
 to be held June 23 – 26, 2025 at Victoria Golf Course, Victoria, BC.  Seniors to be held June 9 – 12, 2025 at Whistler  


Field: Maximum of 60 players in the Championships 
(Amateur/Senior/Handicap). If over subscribed, 
priority given to Amateur and Senior players and 
the lowest handicap indexes accepted. 


Ties: In the event of a tie for either the Champion or 
Runner-Up positions, a “sudden death” playoff will 
commence immediately following the final round, 
to determine the Team of two to represent the Zone 
at the Provincials. Other ties will be broken by 
matching cards.


Cancellation Policy: If a player cancels more than 
 one month to the first day of the Championship 
a full refund will be given. If a player cancels 
between one month and draw date a $15.00 
service fee will be charged. 
Once draw is made, or tournament has started,
there will be no refund.
