CONGRATULATIONS to our B.C. Team members and in particular to the Zone 5 ladies and juniors who were Team members.
A banner year for Zone 5 Team members starting with Vienna Schaeffer (Bear Mountain) and Emma Kral (Olympic View), winning the BC Junior Team Competition, along with a first place tie for the Better Ball event but lost out on a countback. Gorge Vale Golf Course provided an excellent venue for the girts to test their skills.

JUNIOR GIRLS – Sainte-Marie, Que – August 13th – 16th
Team BC won its second consecutive Mary Pyke Trophy, finishing a collective 9 over, four shots ahead of Team Ontario. Team BC was represented by Emma Kral of Olympic View, Zhehui Yu of Burnaby and Cadence Ko of Richmond. As Emma said: “It means a lot to represent Team B.C and be the champions this week. Being in such a big field with many amazing players and to have a team bonding experience and all the memories we have as a team is a really fun experience”.
WOMEN’ S MID-MASTERS: Lachute, Que. August 6th – 8th

Team BC retained the Margaret Todd Trophy winning the Inter-Provincial Team Championship with a combined score of 5 over, beating Team Ontario by eight shots. Team BC was represented by Veronica Ivy of the Olympic View Golf Club. Nonie Marler of Vancouver, and Aram Choi of Surrey.
