2026 Zone 5 Women’s Foursomes Championship

Eligibility:  Open to all Zone 5 women pairs whose COMBINED Handicap Index is 53.6 or lower.  Committee will adjust.  Difference between partner’s handicap indexes must not exceed 10 points at closing date, Committee will adjust.

Format:  Qualifying Round:  Stroke Play  Alternate Tees/Shots.  Pair’s Handicap Index is ½ combined handicap indexes.  Match Play:  Pairs who qualify are guaranteed two rounds (Monday & Tuesday), First Round – Match play in flights of 16 pairs.  Losers drop to lower flight.  Players MUST walk in when match is over/decided.

Field:  Maximum of 64 pairs will qualify.  First Come, First Served.  Wait list will be created after 64 pairs are registered for qualifying round.

Ties:  Qualifying Round:  All ties will be broken by matching cards.  Best back nine minus 1/2 handicap, if still tied, then best back 6 minus 1/3 handicap.  If still tied then last 3 holes minus 1/6 handicap and finally if still tied, 18^th hole.

Match Play:  In the event of a tie, pairs will continue to the 1^st hole for a “Hole by Hole” playoff, taking strokes as they fall.  Alert Pro Shop before proceeding to first tee.

Cancellation Policy: If a pair cancels more than 30 days prior to the first day of the tournament,
a full refund will be given. If a pair cancels between 30 days and the draw date, a $15.00 service fee will be charged. Once the draw is made, or the tournament has started,
there will be no refunds.
