Amateur/Senior/Handicap Tournament
Eligibility: Open to all Zone 5 female golfers with a verifiable handicap.
Amateur and Senior must have index of 18.0 or lower. Seniors must have reached their 50th birthday by the first day of the National Championship, September 16, 2026.
Handicap division is open to all handicaps.
Format: The Championships consists of two 18-hole stroke play rounds. The Champion and the Runner-Up in Amateur and Senior divisions will form the team representing Zone 5 at the BC Amateur and BC Senior Championships.
Field: Maximum of 60 players in the Championships (Amateur/Senior/Handicap). If over subscribed, priority given to Amateur and Senior players and the lowest handicap indexes accepted.
Ties: In the event of a tie for either the Champion or Runner-Up positions, a “sudden death” playoff will commence immediately following the final round. This will be to determine the Team of two to represent the Zone at Provincials. Other ties will be broken by matching cards.
Cancellation Policy: If a player cancels more than 30 days prior to the first day of the Championship a full refund will be given. If a player cancels between 30 days and the draw- date, a $15.00 service fee will be charged. Once the draw is made, or the tournament has started, there will be no refunds.
BC Golf Code of Conduct: Players must agree to this Code of Conduct in order to play in this tournament.
