While the number of players participating was way down this year, the ladies did not lack for enthusiasm. A beautiful day to test the slippery greens at Metchosin Golf Club. This is a special tournament designed for nine hole courses. All Zones in British Columbia are invited to run such a tournament for a Provincial Award. For the last two years, Zone 5 has been the recipient of that Award; a beautiful tray presented to Jacquie Watson (CB) in 2014 and Judy Nurse (SSI) in 2015.
Our thanks to Metchosin Golf & Country Club, the Ladies Captain and to the ladies for providing morning snacks for the players. Thank you also to all the volunteers. A wonderful lunch was provided to cap off the afternoon festivities.
