On September 18, Cedar Hill Golf Course hosted 55 pairs from all over Zone 5. The beautiful late summer day saw the Qualifying round of the Zone 5 foursome tournament conclude with some familiar faces at the top of the leaderboard.
Angela Lucia from Cedar Hill and Marsha Mallow from Highland Pacific used their local knowledge to have the lowest net score of 65 or -2 to capture the top seed. Berte Marr (CH) and Sue Genest (BCP) were 1 shot back. In the team trophy competition, the Royal Colwood GC team of Sadie Guthrie, Jane Caspick, Leeanne Kim and Rose Johnson captured the Team Trophy this year!
