On Tournament day, Thursday, July 18th, all went well with the weather cooperating and 43 ladies challenging the not so easy SSI course. When the dust settled, Val Grainger of Cowichan Golf Club was the NET CHAMPION, recording a Net 66. All other results can be found under the web results column.

What a wonderful evening at Karen Davis’ home on Wednesday as we ate and drank our fill. A beautiful spread was laid out to feast upon and we all now have a better knowledge of BC geography!! If you have a hairy limb, you probably live in Ferni, BC, and Nancy, You’ll are correct….there is a Jade City, in BC!!!
Thank you again to all the ladies of SSI, Captain, Joanna Barrett for organizing our visit, to Karen Davis for hosting the get together, and to all the lovely ladies who opened their homes to give the Committee and numerous players, a soft, comfortable bed to enjoy the quiet and beautiful views. Also special thanks to Steve and his staff and the crew in the restaurant….well done!!!!!
