Our thanks to Cowichan and Highland Pacific Golf Clubs for hosting the Zone 5 Women’s Amateur Championships on May 15th and 16th respectively.
Congratulations to COLLEEN WHEATLEY of Cowichan Golf Club for winning both the Amateur and Senior Championships with a two day gross score of 163. Penny Baziuk of Cordova Bay was Runner-up in both events.
Unfortunately, neither Colleen or Penny were available to represent the Zone at the BCGA Championships, however. Chelsea Truong (VGC) and Krista Nabb (DM) were able to participate in the BCGA Amateur at Arbutus Ridge where Chelsea went on to win the Championship.
