With enthusiastic support from participants, the NET Tournament at Pender Island on July 14th was chosen to celebrate CANADA’S 150th BIRTHDAY.
A sea of red and white could be seen throughout the course as the ladies dressed appropriately for the occasion. Flags and colourful boxes were placed on each tee box, with questions to test players’ knowledge of current and historical CDN, B.C., and Zone personalities and/or events.
After lunch, everyone enjoyed a slice of the beautiful cake donated by THRIFTY FOODS at Broadmead.
